Romanza / Ron Murray & Vuelo

 Combining the improvisation of jazz, with the fire of Flamenco, guitarist Ron Murray and Vuélo debut on Whaling City Sound with “Romanza.” This CD of contemporary acoustic guitar music features a little bit of everything as Ron, with Marty Ballou on bass, and Arti Dixson on drums explore such tunes as the traditional “Romanza,” Jobim’s “Corcovado,” George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” Django Reinhardt’s “Nuages,” as well as a pair of originals by Ron.
